Magnesium Chloride Flakes Tonne MAGCHLORIDE

Magnesium Chloride Flakes Tonne MAGCHLORIDE

Because of its high solubility, Mag Chloride is normally administered via the drinking water. It can also be added to the TMR diet. It is often used with Dry Cows to help maintain anionic / cationic balance (DCAB), and assist in preventing milk fever. It is also used as a source of magnesium prior to turn out and during periods when lush grass is being fed.

Dairy cows
Typically, dissolve 250 grammes of Mag Chloride per 100 litres of water. Alternatively, add 250 gms/head/day to the TMR diet.
Dry Cows
To help maintain anionic / cationic balance (DCAB), Mag Chloride is typically fed at 60 – 100 grammes/head/day during the 2 – 3 week period prior to calving. It can be added to the drinking water or as part of a TMR diet.

Mag Chloride is supplied in poly bags. It should be stored in a cool, dry place. Because of its hygroscopic nature, Mag Chloride may go lumpy if stored for extended periods.
